tulip toes aka long-standing lust item

I have tried many times to dabble into the world of high top sneakers to varied levels of success.

At five I had hot pink Converse All-Stars and then again at 17 I wore red, white and blue Weapons. (For the record, I still bring out the Wep’s every so often.)

Finally after a long, painful, lowtopped 23 years I’ve found the perfect sneaker! These limited edition sneaks are a collaboration between Opening Ceremony and Nike (duh) and feature Liberty print fabric. I couldn’t have done it better myself.

On the down side, there seem to be only 40 available from Colette, and so once again I feel as though I am living in the wrong city!

ADDENDUM (thanks to super-shopping Julia): There are definitely more than 40 of these shoes. They are also available at BOTH Opening Ceremony stores (NY & LA). Thanks!
